LICENSING POLICY

How WHL licenses its work.

Bilateral, per-engagement licensing. No blanket open grants. The Sayo Siglo royalty applies to Trickle-Tech derivatives.

1. Patent licensing

WHL licenses rights under its pending U.S. patent applications, individually, by technology family, or as a portfolio. Licensing is bilateral and per-engagement; we do not offer blanket open-source patent grants. Inquiries: contact@wernerharmoniclabs.com with subject "Patent Licensing".

2. Sayo Siglo 33% royalty

All Trickle-Tech derivatives, including the governed wireless power transfer work (patent pending) and any downstream applications in automotive, medical-implant, drone, autonomous-mobile-robot, or distributed-energy markets, carry a mandatory 33% royalty under the Sayo Siglo policy. This royalty is the canonical rate, overriding any earlier documents that reference other figures. It applies at the deployment level, not the manufacturing level, and is documented in every applicable license agreement.

3. Why we do not publish to public package registries

WHL deliberately does not publish to PyPI, npm, crates.io, or any other public open-source package registry. The reasons:

Customers who need our SDKs receive them via private mirror or source-shared license under NDA.

4. Product licensing models

None of the models below is a purchasable product today. Each is available on request and agreed per engagement in writing, with pricing set in the signed agreement.

5. Federal pathways

WHL is exploring SBIR and other federal procurement routes tied to its pending governed-execution patent applications. This is an external pathway under evaluation, not a completed award. Federal-contracting inquiries: start a conversation.

6. Custom engagements and co-build

For partners willing to anchor a specific product or vertical, we offer custom revenue-share or equity arrangements. Inquiries: contact@wernerharmoniclabs.com with subject "Co-Build", or request a briefing.

7. Open-source posture

WHL maintains selective non-IP-critical artifacts (documentation, reference implementations of general patterns) in private repositories. Public open-sourcing of a specific component may occur only after the relevant patent applications are filed and IP review is complete.
